ABOUT LOVE
***
WHEN A WOMAN LOVES A MAN
She circled him a long time till he saw
She was a woman he could trust and like
She loved him dearly, never saw that flaw
That one small issue: that he would dislike
To bed her with the fire that partners show
For that one love that lasts a lifetime long
Where every word and heated move is so
Engraved in passion, warm, beloved, strong
His distant attitude misunderstood
For shyness, such a sweet endearing flaw
She hoped that in the future parenthood
Would make him happy, that his heart would thaw
Where he liked her, but lusted differently,
She was just sad, she suffered silently.

WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN
I love the silent smiles in her blue eyes
The way she walks on tiptoes through the room
Her love for watching cloudless starry skies
How she refers to me as "my dear groom"
I love her singing childhood songs with pun
Her tinkling laughter while remembering
She lifts my mood by bringing so much fun
Into my darker days and nights, with zing
I love her, but my love for her falls short
For in my heart I fail to be the one
To give her what she needs because I court
A prince, she is my moon, he is my sun
My heart, so torn, a coward lives in me
I need to tell her, finally be free

DeleteIt's true... Can love be lasting long??? Just a fleeting moment... in an eternity. You deserve a whole universe, but I'm just a star.
