DOUBLE RAINBOW
'A double rainbow over my lake'

My double rainbow, my colourful outlook
Every day I look in amazement
over my lake, my mirroring horizon
The soft fractions of light breaking
in the sun, little flecks of dust dancing
insects swarming, birds singing
Rain and sun together create this miracle
This balance between sad and exhileration
This spectrum of all we are, everything we will be
A double rainbow over my lake
A double reason to love, to live
Beautiful prism, beautiful people
