BUTTERFLY

BUTTERFLY

This is my cocoon, my bed, and I am sleepy
For no one will I leave this warm place, I hibernate
With my slender fingers, with the last bit of my strength
I build this final place

I wrap my arms around my head, they are so painful
My knees around themselves, so thin and bone alone
I rest my head inside my arms, and push it all away
Outside this final place

I am no more, today I finally stop being
I never asked to have this strange body that I loathe
Those evercrying thoughts that haunt inside my brain
Let me my final place

***

If this is cease to be, how come the flying colors?
The strange sensations while I suddenly can move?
Is this then crawling out of painful hibernation
Finally leaving life of darkness again?

***
