LONGING

LONGING

Your image in me makes me warm.
Your gentle laughter and your small arms,
Your warm embrace in darkest nights.
Your small warm figure against me.
While I feel your heart race.

And I am so sure I will forever hold you,
Never let go and save you and, and, and
Tell you how you saved my life though.
All will say it was me, that I was brave,
And you were small and could never
Stand up and put them all to shame

Yes, I did, I did, you were not to blame,
And nor am I but just for a while
A little while please make me smile?
And be in this bed so close to me,
That once again my eyes can see,

And I can feel your small frame,
And hear you laugh where nothing
Nice is to be seen. How can it be
That you are so alive in me.
You are so far away from here.

You have no idea I live.
I disappeared.
