Where Did It Go

I have been looking for my voice
                    It is lost
Between my own stupidity
             and huge walls:

storm, rain,
      light
   ning,
         snow
       h
     a
      i
       l

No vocal chords to help me here
stuck between tongue and teeth

Stuck between critique
and uniqueness
whatever that may be

                     Words
                  get      lost
Sentences                  disappear

A head filled with loose letters
that look at  each other in fear
                 suspicious
                  avoidant
