HUMBLING FIRMAMENT

HUMBLING FIRMAMENT

Inspired by poems and narratives of White Wolf

Between heaven and earth is so much more
You and I are for instance, but before
We were, there was and forever will be
The imprint of who will be you and me

Through closed eyelids rosy light glows warm
Swaying left and right in golden sundust swarm
My wheels so insignificantly leave prints in timeless
Everlasting sand, tossed in tides, boundless

In faraway blue grees, a scaled-down ship
Moves motionless, on a never ending trip
And we, beneath a humbling firmament
See immense constellations with no end

We sit here silent, hand in hand meditating
How balance in this world, weighing
On us, harmonizes love and awe in us both
Reconciliation of life, we speak our silent oath

  1. Old Zurbagan falls asleep,
And behind the horizon a hurricane,
With a roar and hubbub and din,
    His way begins to Zurbagan.

Sharp and slanting will burst a heavy rain
young Assol will shiver with cold,
And again I will not be able to understand,
There was it or will only be.

Two in morning on clock, and not us and not our century,
girl looks from pier after the ship,
She will move, having been cold from external wind,
I'm in love with this time, hopelessly in love.

Night will disappear and day will come another,
As the wave comes for a wave,
And I will wake up in the world impossible,
Somewhere between the future and past.

In the world where little girl barefoot,
    At a surf Assol runs,
    Runs funny and mischieviously,
Without knowing anything about a ship.

    Old Zurbagan falls asleep,
And behind the horizon a hurricane,
With a roar and hubbub and din,
    His way begins to Zurbagan.
Sharp and slanting will burst heavy rain,
Also young Assol will shiver with cold,
And again I will not be able to understand,
There was it or will only be.

  2. The song itself sound so beautifully with your poem. I thought you will like it. Next time I will put names of authors of translated poems, I just like to talk about poetry and find out for myself who wrote, it give my brain a work harder... 💓
