Your chains upon my Soul
This prison I used to live in was all I ever knew
But now the freedom ravages my mind
A life imprisoned enhances, I find,
An illogical, more romantic freedom view
A painfully breathtakingly insight breaks
My chains. How hurtful did I treat this me
How did I think I was already free?
But now I am. I am! I am finally awake.
I break the vow of silence capturing my soul
I flee this grasp, can work on being whole
But now the freedom ravages my mind
A life imprisoned enhances, I find,
An illogical, more romantic freedom view
A painfully breathtakingly insight breaks
My chains. How hurtful did I treat this me
How did I think I was already free?
But now I am. I am! I am finally awake.
I break the vow of silence capturing my soul
I flee this grasp, can work on being whole
