Yesterday I had decided to not go there again,
Somewhat like the day before, and today.
Why does that not work, why does my head degrade my heart
My lust my determination.
Grinning faces in windows as mirrors in eyes longing for others for warmth for lingering
Waiting for Godot, for oblivion.
Grabbing his face in my hands and kissing feeling his lean body against mine smoke and beer in his mouth. Waking up with him crisscross over my body, who are you take your clothes and go?
Sitting there wrapping arms around self as if his embrace but it's your own, wanting to love but what is it who am I betraying where did dignity go.
Oh look at all the lonely people. No mirror to smash.
No dignity.
Why is my life painful in my face, why does my body never obey, why is it so hard to leave this place,
And find a home away, far away from where we said our goodbyes. Where he walked out of my life, in his red coat, still etched in my mind.
Pick your remains off this bed, and make it work. Don't stay here one more day so there will be no more tempting night go leave do it now.
