May Showers
Long hair draped around shoulders
clinging, small rivulets, soft caress,
warm waves
Legs slowly move while the tune
plays through her head, spring music
soft green notes blossom on trees
Slim arms encompass herself as if
dancing with April, in early sprung sunlight
between drowsy daisies that open
their amber eyes in white delight,
She raises her head, and welcomes
water, as rainbows welcome rain and sun.
May showers
and smiles.
