Scorched My Heart
You scorched my heart,
In small corners laughter lives,
light phrases that dance through
dark
places
illuminating
candles....
oh how
you shake
foundations,
feebly protected.
Your voice dances through
my dazed thoughts,
hazed vision, with your eyes:
glimmers,
mischievous
marbles,
bicoloured,
forever etched
amid little wrinkles, silvery spun
in a web of evermoving mystery
the tips of my fingers know
your skin ticklish giggled
Oh how you stamped
small
imprinted
signatures,
everywhere,
permanently.
