Scream Your Name

Scream your name across my chest.

Shake me hard until your words drop down

In streams of blood red sentences.

Cry me a moon, cry me yourself.

Grind me to a halt in your strangling arms

that press the air from my tubes.

Wheeze by agonizing gasp and cough.

Pull my hair back in your fists, forcing

my eyes to meet yours, emerald crying

gems in pools of dying blue ocean.

Wail against my wall,  howl my name.

Shriek your screeching halting name

in my deaf ears, to my dead eyes.

Pull the last exhalation from my lungs

longing to hear me speak your name...

....voluntarily.
