DROWNING
Wild sea feasts on me, eats away my feet
Erodes resolve rolling relentlessly drowning
Incessantly in turbulent turmoil breaking
Wave after wave diminishing surfacing
Inch after inch seeing coastline disappear
Lighthouse signing hold on in mirrored sun
Disappearing at the horizon where gannets
Curiously watch while flying over helpless
Vultures in white clothes and orange beaks
Death in disguise smiling nevermore.
