GROW WINGS
I've grown my wings with care
Nothing like Icarus, no glue
He only tried, but had no clue
How to free himself, go where
The sun can't kill by stare.
I split myself, and split
Myself in smaller parts of me
So small the rest of you can't see
My little particles now sit
And hold me high, they fit
Me like a glove, a skin
My coloured specs of warm light
My wings, to carry me in flight
Who can save me from within
Who will save from hurt and sin
They fly me now, away
To my castle on the sand
Away from trees, to a vast land
Where I can always stay
Where I can always stay
