OUR FORT
My thumb along your nose
The tip reaching your eyes
I sigh
My fingers stroke your cheek
And linger on your jaw
You smile
You look me in the eyes
Small pools of mocha coffee
So sweet
Meet lakes of deep blue love
Then you fingers twine
In mine.
And we switch off the light
We smile, we make the bed
Our fort
The night our witness will
Protect the splendor of
Our love
Our love
