OF UNSPEAKABLE

OF UNSPEAKABLE

Of unspeakable, do not speak,

Do not even try to.

Do not open your mouth,

Do not even want to....

Instead move some out,

And let some other in.

Something you like,

Or do not like, or even,

Hate, but speakable

With words, carelessly

Strewn around, and see

How they enjoy to be

With you, words and people.

You do not even need

Those images, you’re freed.

You found your way around

Them, those words that would

Not come, those images 

now blurred, transferred

to boxes on the high shelf.

And dust will catch there

And spiders build a nest.

That’s only fair, you’re away now,

Let it rest.
